Highlights from the 2024 Awards
Last year’s ceremony at York Racecourse was a testament to the incredible spirit of our community. Stories like that of six-year-old Olivia Patterson, who raised the alarm during a house fire, saving her family, remind us of the courage and quick thinking present in our midst. Olivia’s bravery earned her the “Ultimate Hero” award, a moment that left a lasting impression on all attendees.
Looking Ahead to 2025
The upcoming YorkMix Hero Awards will take place on 20 June 2025 at York Racecourse. Nominations are now open, and we encourage everyone to put forward individuals who have made a positive impact in their communities. Categories include Best Boss, Environmental Hero, Volunteer of the Year, Charity Fundraiser of the Year, Outstanding Bravery, and more.
